Minuets are a Persian/ Munchkin outcross. They were created in 1996 by founder Joe Smith. The Minuets original name was the Napoleon. It was later changed to the Minuet. Some places will still call them Napoleon's, however TICA registers them under the name Minuet. The Minuet can come with long hair or shot hair. The standard Minuets have low, short legs and the Non-standard have long legs .This angelic breed has a round head and a sweet baby doll face. Despite their size Minuets enjoy climbing and getting up onto tall surfaces. They are curious and playful. With a variety of colors and patters you can be sure to find a Minuet that will fit your family's tastes. Regardless of the leg length or coat type this breed is loving and sweet. An eternal kitten ,they love attention and to be with their people. They do well in most homes and fit perfectly in an apartment.

The Truth about Non-Standard ( NS )cats and kittens. All Minuets and Munchkins can produce either standard- short l eg or NS , long legged, kittens. The difference is only in the leg length. A NS kitten is still not as big as a regular domestic kitty. Our NS female is only 6lbs. She may not have the standards short legs but she does look like a miniature cat! They still have the amazing Minuet temperament and are eternal kittens. They still have the Minuets sweet face and big precious moments eyes. They are less expensive than there short legged brothers and sisters and can be a more affordable way for your family to enjoy a Minuet without the BIG price tag. Southern Ladies Majestic Minuets is a hobby cattery located in Southern Ohio. We are TICA registered as Southern Minuets. Our cattery is FIV/FELV, FIP PKD negative. All of our cats live free in our home. They are NOT caged. All Queens and Kings undergo full CBC blood panels and genetic testing before we decide to use them as a breeding pair. We also make sure that all cats have sweet loving temperaments before breeding. All of our breeding pairs are TICA registered. All of our kittens come with a food kit, new toys, a cat carrier, with two vaccines, dewormed, on flea prevention, and they all come spayed or neutered.
Transportation:
We do our own ground transport. We personally hand deliver your kitten to you. We do not use third party transports or ship by cargo on a plane. Those transports are stressful for the cats. We deliver anywhere in the US. Ground transport is $2 a mile.
